DESCRIPTION Amazon Web Services (AWS) Commercial Americas organization is looking for an experienced and motivated manager who possesses a unique balance of strong interpersonal, people management, program management, and Cloud technical delivery management skills. You will lead a team of highly skilled Technical Delivery Managers and partner with AWS sales, professional services, and AWS service teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures with robust delivery plans to address some of the world's largest financial services and technology firm's business problems, thereby accelerating the rate of adoption of AWS. We will not be successful unless our customers are receiving massive value from our service. As such, we need a senior manager to own driving success for our customers. This role includes responsibilities for Customer Success activities (e.g., on-boarding, working with support, services, adoption, advocacy, retention, etc.) and outcomes (e.g., renewals, new workload, and usage etc.). Key Roles and Responsibilities Serve as an expert in the field, providing assistance on large initiatives and to accounts with limited resources or roadblocks. Adept in planning and managing multi-disciplinary internal teams, guiding and assisting with large opportunities. You will provide both hands-on and advisory assistance across multiple customers to assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide critical issue management, balance trade-offs, and encourage risk-tasking to maximize business value. You will be an AWS evangelist and influence your customers at C- level to help realize their goals. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS * 5+ years experience in leading customer-facing organizations * Team management and people development * Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement * Excellent communication and presentation skills * Analytical and process-oriented mindset * Relevant Bachelor's degree; preference for computer science or related degrees / equivalent experience * PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * PMP or SCRUM/Agile certified or experience as a Product Owner * Direct experience implementing AWS/cloud services * Demonstrated ability to effectively deliver information at the C-suite/VP level * Experience working with current web technologies (especially Cloud) * Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly * Prior experience working in a Technology sales o
