The Amazon Web Services Professional Services team is looking for Enterprise Service Managers (ESM) that can collaborate with Professional Services teams in the field and large enterprise organizations, develop a long term Professional Services strategy and execute that strategy within selected Enterprise accounts. The ESM is a trusted advisor for our largest and most committed customers. The role includes business development and sales pursuit within the AWS Enterprise accounts in collaboration with local Professional Service practices and AWS SI partners Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and obsess about strong success for the Customer. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about: Development of large, complex, multi-technology proposals for enterprise customer to meet their objectives by leveraging the AWS platform with assistance from AWS Professional Services and Partner Engage with customers to understand their business drivers and application portfolio Development of long term Cloud Strategy for selected customers and selected opportunities Identify & develop specific opportunities and supporting business cases Deal shaping, including estimations and deal pricing Contract negotiations & closing Act as single person of contact for selected opportunities, developing deep, trustful relations with AWS customers and internal teams. Educate customers on AWS services and translate those into a clear business value proposition Are you able envision business solutions, inspire customers, and coach Customer and Partner teams on how to achieve business results on the AWS platform? BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Basic qualifications A Bachelor's degree; Masters/MBA degree preferred. 15+ years of IT consulting/management experience, with demonstrated IT Transformation experience in customer-facing roles. Experience working with large multi-national organizations as the Consulting Services lead, Account and/or Relationship Manager Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in meeting customer needs. A proven track record of managing customer relationships and expectations Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group leadership and executive presentations. Be mobile and travel to client locations in the US as needed. Estimated 50-75% annual travel requirement PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Managing executive Customer relationships and key business stakeholders. Experience with contract and statement of work development. Enterprise Architecture Frameworks identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications and global infrastructure assets. Broad enterprise systems technology experience including IaaS / virtualization technologies, SAP, Oracle, and custom applications. Understanding of IT processes and infrastructures.
