The Cloud Supply Chain and Provisioning’s New Technology Team is seeking passionate, driven, and intellectually curious Engineering, Program Management and Supply Chain professionals to drive impact and deliver results in the world of Microsoft Cloud. The Cloud Supply Chain and Provisioning’s New Technology Integration team is responsible for leading all New Technology deployments for internal and external customers to ensure fast time-to-market and full-service capability in the Cloud.

The Cloud Supply Chain is responsible for designing, building and operating our unified global datacenters; managing the demand planning and capacity utilization of our infrastructure; and all the operations needed to run the physical infrastructure to enable agility in one of the fastest growing industries on the planet. We are looking for a Program Manager who is passionate about bringing new cloud services to the market, to join the New Technology Integration team. The Cloud Supply Chain and Provisioning (CSCP) New Technology Integration (NTI) team is responsible for ensuring capacity is deployed to support product launch milestones and that additional capacity can be deployed quickly and at scale. NTI is critical maintain and improve Microsoft’s competitive advantage in the market.

As a Program Manager in New Technology Introduction, you are the driving force between Engineering Groups and Cloud Supply Chain in delivering amazing products from concept to live customer utilization. Whether collaborating with the Engineering Groups (Bing, Office365, Xbox Live, Skype, Azure) team to launch a new product, developing ground breaking capabilities to drive efficiency in the Supply Chain, or managing the ongoing relationship with partners, you will leverage your analytical, leadership, and communication skills to deliver innovative solutions in the Cloud computing space that will transform the way our customers interact with our products.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the introduction of new cloud services and/or hardware platforms

  • Work directly with engineering teams to ensure new services meet the scale and cycle times for high volume deployments

  • Identify, prototype and drive the implementation of technical and process improvements to increase the agility and speed of our deployment system

  • Drive reduction in the time-to-market for the introduction of new services

  • Identify deployment related bugs, facilitate the resolution, and develop regression test cases to prevent reoccurrence

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s (e.g. mechanical, electrical, chemical, industrial), business administration, supply chain management, or other relevant degrees.

  • Master's (e.g. mechanical, electrical, chemical, industrial) or 3 years of experience in managing the introduction of new hardware and software services PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in developing analytics and reporting to enable data-based decisions

  • Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute a strategy aimed at achieving an end goal though leadership and collaboration.

  • Ability to manage seemingly conflicting requirements, and objectively analyze different inputs to break down complex problems and drive measurable impactful solutions.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and analyze, explain, and draw conclusions based on complex data

  • Ability to influence technical experts and effectively align them to deliver results

  • Passionate about Microsoft products, its ” customer obsessed” culture and its” one Microsoft” approach

  • Ability to work independently and within a matrix environment; a self-starter

  • Experience in product development life-cycle management, technical problem solving, supplier relationship management, program management, and managing formal communications preferred.
