Whidbey General Hospital Clinic Manager in Oak Harbor, Washington

POSITION SUMMARY The Clinic Manager assures the establishment and successful operation of a high volume or multiple site clinics. Responsibilities include daily operations, as well as long term planning for services, and budget development in conjunction with the Director of Practice Management or his/her designee. The Clinic Manager will have a basic understanding of physician practices, including personnel, operations, financial and reimbursement in addition to being responsible for all aspects of billing and office accounting. The Clinic Manager will provide decisive, solution-oriented administrative judgment and maintain excellent interpersonal relations with all physicians and clinic and hospital staff. The Clinic Manager will be expected to cross train to other practices and act as back-up to other Clinic Supervisors/Managers within the District as determined by the Director of Practice Management.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE Completion of an accredited program or Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Business required; ten (10) or more years comparable experience managing a medical practice may be considered in place of a degree. At least five (5) years of increasing responsibility and leadership in a clinic or physician office environment required, including oversight of staff. Must have a minimum of five (5) years work experience in a physician practice or medical office environment. Minimum of five (5) years office experience.
